Debra (Debbie) Ann Eppy, 60 died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 10, 2016 at OSF Medical Center. She was born June 6, 1956 in Peoria, Illinois to Thomas and Elizabeth Gill. In 1984, Debbie married the love of her life and best friend, Richard Eppy. He survives along with her children, Shane (Brandi) Ulick of Washington, IL, Christine Ulick of Washington, IL, Joseph (Wendy) Eppy of Bartonville, IL and Matthew (Leslie) Eppy of Farmington, IL. Debra (Debbie) Ann Eppy, 60 died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on October 10, 2016 at OSF Medical Center. She was born June 6, 1956 in Peoria, Illinois to Thomas and Elizabeth Gill. In 1984, Debbie married the love of her life and best friend, Richard Eppy. He survives along with her children, Shane (Brandi) Ulick of Washington, IL, Christine Ulick of Washington, IL, Joseph (Wendy) Eppy of Bartonville, IL and Matthew (Leslie) Eppy of Farmington, IL. She is survived by her grandchildren, Brittany Eppy, Ashleigh (Jacob) Bragg, Austin, Rebekah, and Brooklyn Ulick, Mason Ulick and Jailyn Gorman, Estelle, Evelyn and Harlan Eppy. She was also blessed with two great grandchildren, Collin Ulick and Presleigh Lape. Debbie leaves behind her mother, Betty, along with her sisters Linda (Tom) Chitwood and Carolyn (Steve) Opper who loved and will miss her deeply. Debbie was also a loving aunt to several nieces and nephews, not to mention the other many close friends and relatives she leaves behind. She is preceded in death by her father. Debbie had several favorite interests and hobbies. Among her favorite hobbies were boating, traveling, and shopping, all of which included her sister and best friend Carolyn. Debbie was also an active member in her church, The Encounter located in East Peoria, IL and you could always find her helping her husband at various events at Izaak Walton Peoria Chapter. She worked for 25 years at Regions Bank, where she retired in April of 2009. However, her favorite pastime was cheering on her grandchildren at each of their sporting events. Debbie was known for her ease of conversation and her contagious smile that brought joy to everyone that crossed her path. She loved her children and grandchildren with intensity and all who knew her could tell this by her constant presence in their lives. Although she may be gone from this life, her presence will be continuous in the hearts of her family and friends. Funeral Services will be at 11am Friday, October 14, 2016 at Remmert Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Pastor Steve Clason will officiate. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to Izaak Walton Peoria Chapter.
